Scott Osswald, Chairman 

Scott Osswald retired in 2019 from the Capital Region Chamber as a Senior Membership Manager. In 2007 he joined The Chamber of Schenectady County as the Membership Manager. He was part of the team that formed the Capital Region Chamber when the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber and The Chamber of Schenectady County merged to form the Capital Region Chamber.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Mr. Osswald worked for The Daily Gazette Company for more than twenty years. He held various positions in advertising sales, advertising management and marketing. While at the newspaper he served as President and Treasurer of the New York Newspaper Advertising and Marketing Executives, a statewide daily newspaper trade association under the New York Newspaper Publishers Association.  He is also a past president and current treasurer of The Kiwanis Club of Scotia Glenville.

Mr. Osswald holds a BA in Public Relations from Utica College of Syracuse University.  Mr. Osswald and his wife Michelle reside in Glenville, New York.

Brian Craig, Vice Chair

Brian is the owner of Personal Wine Cellar LLc, located next to Market 32 on Rt 50 in Glenville. Our store opened in October 2011 and we are a family owned business and a full service liquor store. We offer tasting events,curbside pickup and home delivery either through our website or Doordash and Instacart. In addition to my duties as sole owner, I also consult for owners who want to start their own liquor store. I have helped over a dozen new owners navigate the process over the years. I am a resident of Glenville and look forward to helping small business grow within our community through the reach of the Glenville Local Development Corp.

Kristen Faubion, Loan Review Committee

Kristen is an Assistant Vice President with 1st National Bank of Scotia and presently manages the Glenville Branch.  During her career, she has been very active in the area with several local chambers of commerce and is a graduate of the Capital Region Tech Valley Leadership program. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marist College. Currently, Kristen serves as a board member and treasurer of the Electric City Food Co-Op, the Schenectady Day Nursery, and the Schenectady Zoning Board of Appeals.
